मैंने BillBabu क्यों बनाया
I started BillBabu on 21 March 2026 because of a gap I kept noticing in how small businesses in India actually run.
GST was meant to simplify taxation, but the way it's filed today still has too many manual steps. Merchants spend hours every month moving invoices between an accountant, the GST portal, and a paper ledger. The work is repetitive, error-prone, and easy to put off until the deadline panic kicks in.
But the deeper problem is something else: most shopkeepers never see their own numbers. They know what's in the cash drawer at the end of the day — but they cannot tell you whether last quarter was better than this one, who their best customer is, which product earns them the most margin, or which month their growth stalled. Without those answers, a business owner cannot double down on what's working or fix what isn't.
BillBabu exists to put all of that on one platform. Billing, GST returns, inventory, customer payments, and AI-powered answers about your own books — every piece of your business in one place. And because the chartered accountant works on the same platform, the monthly back-and-forth disappears.
I also wanted to make this affordable. Most software in this space charges enterprise prices for features small shopkeepers actually need. BillBabu starts at ₹199 per month with a 30-day free trial — and ships with features that the more expensive products still don't have.
